What is group conscious change?
Group Relational Change is a process I have developed which specifically targets the effects that a group can have on an environment . For instance we all know that if a person is extremely happy or sad they can directly affect our emotions, or a piece of news delivered in two opposite ways can have two very different effects, so to can a group idea, emotion, or through create a conscious culture within an organization.
Group Relational Change (GRC) is the ability to stimulate positive changes through a group using the mentality and processes inherent in each of us to interpret and react on information in a specific way. Using a formulated system that combines the actions of an individual, and the power of the group to stimulate relational changes that can be monitored and reproduced.
I believe that perceptions can ultimately lead to reality, and the more something is concentrated on the greater likelihood that the incident feeling or event will develop. Within a group this could mean a concentrated awareness to eat healthier, stop smoking, or even increase sales productivity or mental creativity.
GRC is also a pre-defined set of (action items) that are owned by a change owner (CO) where small deliverables can be achieved. Therefore GRC is a motivational concept that is broken down into digestible processes that can be measured for effectiveness resulting in overall change.
For instance a company that may be going through a merger will inherently cause panic as people worry about their jobs. Even if there has not been an official announcement of a possible job cut, one person may infect or pass the anxiety they feel over to another, and then another and another until the end result is a very jittery company worrying about job losses.
It is therefore important to quickly move into action to change the cultural wave that is spreading fear, anxiety and disruption. GRC can be used as a process to (snap) people out of this negative mind set, and create an ongoing process in which a positive changes can be created, measured, and consistently managed on an ongoing basis.
The GRC process is extremely flexible and can be used for almost any type of change needed such as, stop smoking, weight loss, sales improvement, executive leadership, and creative thinking. These process can be deployed in small groups, or across huge environments, and is useful for both the corporate and non corporate organizations.
The Group Relational Change methodology uses the idea that each person can maximize their potential by self focus, and pass on these positive actions to the group, resulting in a more productive, active, healthy environment. This new change in perception and group conscious can then be effectively monitored on an ongoing basis using the GRC program methodology.
We believe that success, positive thinking, creativity, and habit change can spread just as fast, or faster than negativity if developed correctly. A company or organization currently suffering through a negative group conscious change can be turned around and stimulated at any point with minimal setup or ongoing fees.
The GRC program focuses on individual change with group consequences, in which the individual will be propelled to personally change while utilizing the support and success of the larger group. The Group owners (GO) can then manage a small group, making sure that the power and success of the larger group essentially lifts up and promotes any stumbles or failure within their sub-group.
This corporate conscious and group mentality can have amazing effects such as reducing obesity rates, stopping smoking, turning around a negative or unproductive sales force, or working through and dealing with change effectively.
The group relational change is structured so that each individual can start to witness positive changes within themselves all while stimulating changes within sub-groups, and larger groups as a whole. The process will spark a (movement) within the company which will produce amazing and lasting results effectively changing any unwanted behaviors while promoting company ethics and standards.
